In November 2022, the company was sold and is in now owned and operated by Baillieston Community Care, a not for profit organisation and registered charity with its headquarters in Glasgow. We offer a high quality person focused service aimed at maintaining individual’s independence within their own homes and the community. We currently operate two separate services including a Care at Home Service & Respite Service.
Our aim is to firmly establish Extended Personal Care as the area’s preferred choice for both care at home and respite services. Extended Personal Care will ensure a systematic approach to the management of care, providing a framework of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation unique to the needs of each client.
Assessment of need will focus on client choice and the right to information on availability of resources. The planning and provision of care will intimately involve the client and where indicated by the client, appropriate family/carers and/or other Health Care providers.
Evaluation of care and monitoring of service provision will be integral to the delivery of high quality client care.
Extended Personal Care values each member of staff and will strive to ensure all staff are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. Education and Training will be provided to meet service and personal learning needs. Individuals will be treated equally and be encouraged and supported on a confidential basis to raise concerns over any aspect of their work.

Out of Hours:
Our out of hours service operates outwith normal working hours. Out of these hours we have a dedicated 24/7 on call service which is automatically directed to the on call Manager via our main office number.
